Making Super 8 wedding films & becoming a Super 8 Videographer was a natural progression after over a decade of making art from love for struck humans as an alternative wedding photographer in Lincolnshire, the UK & beyond.
When I first began making Super 8 cine films I did it to document my family. With the birth of my first little dude I wanted to create little movies on real film that made me feel something. Not just forgettable clips on phones that get lost in the cloud but something more tangible, Something with texture & grain & that perfect imperfection I love so hard. The family videos I have from when I was a kid are so damn special to me. I wanted to use Super 8 as the medium to create similar memories for my own family.
As time passed, I realised I could offer couples something equally meaningful on their wedding day — a truly unique way to preserve all that frickin heart. I didn’t want to just add video to my wedding photography. I wanted to find a medium that matched my alternative style, one that complemented the raw, emotional moments I strive to capture in my photography. Super 8 wedding films were the perfect fit.
Super 8 wedding films are short, 3-6 minute silent highlight movies set to music. The result is a beautifully nostalgic, cinematic glimpse into your wedding day — a film that feels as unique as your one of a kind kinda love.
