EYES & ELECTRICITY

I've got some some proper magical photos from the beaut intimate Wakefield Town Hall wedding of Lauryn & Conor to show you. When Lauryn got in touch on Insta a little while back to book me for her do I was beyond excited. Not only are these two just magnificent humans in general but Lauryn was so excited for me to get creative that I couldn't wait to get these two absolute BEAUTIES in front of the old picture box. Of course I wasn't disappointed JUST FRICKIN LOOK AT THEM!

These two had their Wakefield Town Hall wedding with their closest family & friends in attendance. Their two kids had me trying to keep the camera steady from laughing during the ceremony. Wether it be when their little girl Lennie shouted proper loud during the bit where the registrar asks if anyone opposes this marriage speak now? Or when their little boy Roo just KO'd in the middle of the aisle as they were making their exit. Kids are awesome.

Colourful rainbows frame a stunning alternative Bride as she looks into the Grooms eyes during this Wakefield Town Hall wedding ceremony.

After the ceremony we hit the streets of Wakefield for some epic portraits amidst winding alleys, car parks & a swift pint at a local bar. YES! I've never walked around Wakefield before but it was so bloody good to explore a new City, especially with two humans as photogenic & utterly loved up as these two.

From there we headed to The Old Post Office Barnsley where the party truly began. Kids on slides, awesome table decorations, tons of balloons, a badass buffet & some oh so epic cakes all made by the talented Lauryn herself aka Flourgirl. Just check out that concrete beauty. I was on form on Friday that's for bloody sure, creating some awesome portraits with some fallen trees amidst a car park before heading to an underpass with the bride & groom gifted me with some of my absolute favourite portraits this year.

The moment before a kiss for an alternative Bride & Groom in this Wakefield wedding. Eyes and Electricity amidst Wakefield's urban awesomeness.

Of course that wasn't just down to me, it was literally down to this love struck two being so utterly & clearly in love. Yep just call me Mr Cheesy mc Cheeseman but it's the bloody truth. Sometimes you get a couple where it ain't nothing but eyes & electricity & Lauryn & Conor lit up Yorkshire with that love.

Here's to this most magical two XO

THE REVIEW ~ LAURYN & CONOR

"We booked Ryan for our little Wakefield Town Hall wedding in July, I had fallen in love with his work and a second into our Skype call- him too. Shutter Go Click was the perfect company for us, I feel like Ryan specialises in anything other normal and that suited us down to the ground. From the minute we met outside the town hall he was doing his thing catching lovely Candids and cracking jokes with the rest of us, he may have been there to photograph but he felt just as much a part of the wedding party as our own best friends.

Both me and Conor are incredibly awkward in front of the camera but it came so easy and was so fun with Ryan behind it. He made our day so special and kept it going when we saw our gallery (that was ready much much earlier than expected may I add) and it became so clear while looking through them that he had captured us, our children, our siblings, our parents and just the whole atmosphere perfectly.

If you’re toying with the idea of booking Ryan, please do- there is no way you could ever regret it. He is a blessing, his photographs speak for themselves but even if they didn’t he’s got hundreds of people stood behind him ready to sing his praises and I promise we’d be one of the first in the queue.

Cannot thank Ryan enough, and cannot wait for another excuse to book him!"
