Leeds Library Wedding | Natalie and Jonathon
80% CAFFEINE. 20% EXCITED WEE
Sheesh my body aches, I've not had a shower yet & my blood stream is 80% caffeine, 20% excited wee, yep it must be peak wedding season & this weekend had tickled my special place with two magnificent weddings. The first of which is this incredible Leeds Library wedding hitting your glorious eye balls today. YES!
I've not really got a bucket list for places I wanna shoot but if I did a library would definitely be on it. I'm from Leeds & grew up in Leeds but I've never set foot in Leeds Library & my word was it a treat for the eyes. I've been properly looking forward to this one since the incredible Natalie & Jonathon booked little while back & to celebrate the love of this incredible two in such fab places was a frickin dream.
It all began with me arriving way too early as per & soaking up all the paper bound goodness of The Leeds Library. Honestly some of these books, well I'm no bookologist but they were dead old & dead good looking. Kinda like my dad. When Jonathon arrived followed shortly by Natalie I knew it was going to be an absolute blast. I mean just check out Natalie's gorgeous blue velvet suit. SWOON!
The Leeds Library wedding ceremony was beaut but making portraits amidst this Leeds legend was genuinely a playground for me. I could have literally stayed there a week & still found new nooks & crannies (what the hell is a cranny anyway) to make damn special photographs. After a lot of booze & a lot of proper spesh photos me, Natalie & Jonathon wandered through Leeds (with a couple of photos on the way) to catch the Leeds Dock Water Taxis over to Clarence Dock. Not only did I somehow manage not to fall overboard but that little slice of magical chill time before the reception was just perfect. Even more so because yellow backgrounds makes Ryan a happy boy & the Leeds Water Taxi is errrrm... dead yellow.
Our last stop was Fearns Leeds Dock at Clarence dock. A proper cool space in one of my fav parts of Leeds & my word the food was just sublime. Speeches & chilled out tunes led the way to a beaut cake cutting as I said my goodbyes to such an eclectic day filled with everything Natalie & Jonathon love.
A huge thank you to this magnificent two. What a day. What a love.

I couldn't wait to get back to Shears Yard, it's been BLOODY YEARS. That candle lit intimacy. That waterfront location. SHEESH Shears Yard is is right up my street. My mental street that is, not my literal street as I'm now over 2 hours away. 🥲 Miss you Yorkshire.
Lets delve into the absolutely BLOODY MAGNIFICENT Ella & Chris' most spectacular of Project House Leeds wedding days involving sex shops, epic toilets & more crystals than Krypton baby. YES!
Every time I get to the Faversham for a wedding it's like shooting at home. The staff are so ATTENTIVE & WELCOMING that it gives me all the feels. Before I know it I have a drink in my hand & I'm laughing & joking with all the BEAUT humans that run the place. A lot of wedding venues could learn to be a bit more like the Faversham that's for sure.

As soon as I arrived the awesome venue manager gave me the grand tour of This Green Moon telling me about MAGICAL little monsters that lived there and endowing me with a special bracelet. I mean that was probably the GREATEST wedding venue intro I've ever had to be fair.
