The Priests House, Barden Wedding | Lea and Debs
GET IN MY MAJESTIC BUSH
Wow what an amazing wedding filled weekend kicking off with two very special humans in the shape of Debs & Lea. It's been a good few years since I was at The Priests House & Old Chapel in Barden for a wedding. In fact one of my very first ever weddings was there. I remember not been able to drive at the time & having to get my dad to pick me up in the arse end of no where amidst huge snow drifts. Fast forward a good few years later & right there in the Dales magic was made.
Jeez I have to start by saying Debs & Lea were such bloody fun to be around. Their stunning ceremony was held in the beautiful old Chapel at the Priests House. Built in 2016 I'd never actually shot in this space before, but holy moly it was an absolute dream to photograph in. Especially with this magnificent two at the centre of it all.
After saying their I do's in front of those that matter most it was group photos around the sun lit Barden Tower. An amazing meal & toasts led the way to dragging these two Brides through the wilderness to create some badass smoke bomb filled portraits. I think by the end of all this photographic awesomeness Deb's Lucy Can't Dance dress was covered in half the forest floor. Also JUST LOOK at those jackets made by one of my future brides at Not Yours Denim. Sheesh! I've got to give a shout out to these two for being so bloody cool. Firstly JUST LOOK AT THEM! Secondly these guys didn't hesitate when instructed to jump head first into bushes & sheep bum Malteser filled fields. By the time me & Paige were finished with Lea & Debs, it legit felt like we had know them for years.
Back inside it was pure magic as a first dance signalled the end of the night. Light dwindled & chandelier light played upon aged stone. It was in the final embrace amidst cheers from loved ones that their day like no other came to an end. But their journey had just begun.
Here's to Lea & Debs XOXO

Temporary tattoos, Harry Styles, BADASS food & over zealous space hopper antics that revealed a little bit too much boob. It was all here in a chaotic Y'allternative/halloween vibed White Syke Fields wedding EXTRAVAGANZA that was a feast for the eye balls as much as the heart. This one is a DOOZY!
