Skipbridge Country Weddings | Lauren and Callon
THERE & BACK AGAIN
I got to spend an entire day with the incredible Callon & Lauren over at the beautiful York wedding venue of Skipbridge Country Weddings. Yes that's right! I was up to my usual farm based antics of attempting to befriend every single animal including carrying out mental measurements to decipher if a fully grown Lama would fit in my VW Polo.
Words can't even describe how bloody lovely Lauren & Callon are & even in the best mans speeches they failed to deliver any embarrassing stories or personality flaws to publicly assassinate. In fact while we are on the subject of speeches. I sure as Hell hear a lot of them in my job. But the sure fire clue of when there's an amazing one is when I just listen & pause taking photos for a couple of minutes. From hearing tales of how the happy couple first met. To an awesome poem from the father of the bride & right up to the best mens childhood tales of wilderness exploring. Every last word spoke out to the crowds that filled this magnificent paper lantern adorned PapaKåta! teepee was epic.
Now let me talk to you guys about the Skipbridge Country weddings for a moment. Just on the outskirts of York & ran by the most bloody lovely family you're ever likely to meet is this wild flower infused, animal adorned, hobbit hole hidden spectacle that is Skipbridge Country Weddings. It's pretty rare as a photographer I'm as welcomed by staff as one of the guests. But these guys & their beautiful little pocket of Yorkshire countryside have it all. In fact I love Skipbridge so much they’re even on my list of best Yorkshire wedding venues.
Now Lauren & Callon had their fair share of ups & downs getting to their most spectacular of wedding days. After having to change no only the entire venue, caterers & even the wedding date. It was apparent above all that no matter what wedding woes were thrown their way that in the arms of each other was where the memories truly mattered.
For under the canopy of fairy lights as the crowds gathered to watch a first dance. It was in those first steps that their adventure truly began.

You can guarantee everything will be natural smiles because he’ll have you laughing your heads off pretty much the entire time he’s around. We’ve had none stop compliments about our pictures since the wedding at Skipbridge Country Weddings, everyone loved his style and approach to what he does.
