the ONLY DATE NIGHT PAIGE didn’t get PREGNANT
I met the amazing James & Dion very randomly on a date night out with Paige in Sheffield. We sat down outside well on our way to being fully inebriated & I heavily petted their canines. Nope that's not a euphemism. Legit we got chatting & actually spent the whole night tapping rollies, stroking their dogs & generally having a bloody good time. That was until we found out the reason they were in Sheffield which was to look at a wedding venue. "OH REALLY" I declared as I formed a power stance & bestowed the tale of the greatest wedding photographer to have ever graced their eye balls. I lit up the streets of Sheffield with my spell binding camera toting finger wizardry & let it be known our meeting was nothing but fate & fortune.
Well that's how it went down in my mind but I think it was more a drunken hard sell before we said our goodbyes & ended probably the only date night with Paige that didn't end up with her pregnant by the end of it. The next day I was like "I really hope those guys get in touch" & guess what. THEY ONLY FRICKIN DID!
Fast forward a couple of years for their Judge's Lodging wedding in York not Sheffield I finally got to celebrate with these two incredible humans who lit up this old town with pure frickin joy. The day began at The Judges Lodging Hotel, York where just a few friends & family celebrated their love amidst this epic venue. Sheesh the last time I was at The Judge's Lodging was when I was a student nearly 20 years back at a New Years party in the basement & the place looked a lot less Psychedelic this time around.
James & Dion even managed to unintentionally tie the knot during York Pride too & during the Judge's Lodging wedding ceremony you could hear the distant drum beats of the Pride March through town. How cool is that! A beaut ceremony followed by some epic portraits around York led the way to all the booze, all the laughs & all the beaut food. Genuinely I've been looking forward to this day for so damn long because these two already felt like good mates & spending the day with Dion & James was just the perfect end to a tale of magical happenstance.
After all the party vibes these guys weren't done as they said their goodbyes by boarding one of the York River Cruise boats to head down the river Ouse. Yes I know... I told them they should have booked me for longer but as they sailed off into the sunset I was home just in time to bring the Mrs a McFlurry (again not a euphemism) & feed the tiny babo back to sleepy land.
What a whirlwind of love & magic these guys impart into the world. Here's to Dion & James. I will always be free to stroke your dogs XOXO
Side Note: Huge love to the staff at The Judge's Lodging for looking after me so well & for holding a window open for me for a massive group shot while I dangled out of it like Michael Jackson's baby. XO

“Exceptionally talented, unique and slightly bonkers! :-P
We met Ryan randomly on a night out in Sheffield, when we happened to be making some half-arsed wedding plans, and this impromptu meeting ended up being the the catalyst we needed to get everything else going. We knew from the start that we didn't want anything traditional, and Ryan's style instantly struck a chord with us.
Ryan was extremely diligent the whole way through the process leading up to to the ceremony, making sure we had properly considered what we wanted on the day, via meetings and questionnaires.
The actual day was fantastic and Ryan was flawless. He seamlessly blended in, whist capturing a huge number of mesmerising and creative photos. Neither of us are particularly a fan of photos, but the individual shots were also effortless and great fun. Our walk around York gave us a bit of breathing space and complimented the day perfectly.
