Eden at Broughton Hall Wedding | Jeni and Adam
I HAVE BEEN TO EDEN
I'm not gonna lie I have been so excited to get back for a wedding at the amazing Eden at Broughton Hall after shooting a fab wedding there a couple of years back. I was actually beginning to think that my memories of this astounding Yorkshire Dales wedding venue might be viewed through slightly rose tinted glasses. "Was it really that frickin awesome?" Well the short answer is HELLS YEAH! but what really made it special was sharing an unparalleled day with the beautiful Jeni & dashing (no I have never said that word in my life) Adam. That's right I was at Eden with Adam but Eve has been replaced by the red haired vision that is Jeni. I've heard Eve is now on the dole & spends her days buying Derelea dunkers in Asda.
Soooo let me begin by saying. LOOK! JUST LOOK! The owners of Eden at Broughton Hall have so much bloody taste. Everything is white & everything that isn’t white is a primary colour. This pleases my brain more than I can even tell you. So of course I had to take advantage of such a magnetic interior by positioning the Bride & Groom in awkward & amusing spots like in between book shelves, beneath paintings & anywhere else I could match up this pleasing symmetry. Can you tell I’m excited? WELL I AM! In fact I’m so bloody excited that I added Eden at Broughton Hall to my list of best Yorkshire wedding venues.
After spending the morning with Jeni & her 10 Bridesmaids for all that getting ready stuff. Yes you heard that right 10 Bridesmaids. I’ve actually heard that if I had put my camera down long enough. Jeni would have had me holding a bouquet, cracking on a polkadot dress & becoming number 11. But of course I wouldn’t want to overshadow the other ladies. Plus 10 is a good symmetrical number only matched by the 10. Yes 10 again groomsmen wahoo! When adventuring with this lovely lot around Broughton Hall Estate for a few portraits I should have rented a mini bus.
Right after all the girls were ready it was wedding ceremony time. There in the most gorgeous room inside Eden the happy couple spoke their vows in front of those that matter most. Culminating with everyone singing The Beatles Ob-La-Di Ob-La-Da performed by the amazing Rock My Reception. Wow these guys can play! From beginning to end this acoustic duo had the wedding bouncing. It’s a wonder their hands haven’t fallen off!
The rest of Jeni & Adam’s Broughton Hall wedding was centred around the awesome teepee from PapaKåta!. Surrounded by lawn games including a coconut shy where the bristly fruits were adorned with the happy couples smiling faces. It seemed every last details was made by Jeni’s mum too. HOW MANY POM POMS!?
After some awesome food & plenty of groups pics me, Jeni & Adam headed off for a wander around the stunning grounds of Broughton Estate. Once again I was totally caught off guard by Jeni’s willingness to chuck herself in between any tree, inside any bush with a smile. So much so that by the end I was convincing these guys to follow peacocks, rub their faces on Apple Trees & all sorts. DANCE MY PUPPETS!
When the final portraits were taken & the dancing began there was just one last sparkler laden photograph to be taken as I bid farewell to one of the greatest days I have ever been a part of.

Temporary tattoos, Harry Styles, BADASS food & over zealous space hopper antics that revealed a little bit too much boob. It was all here in a chaotic Y'allternative/halloween vibed White Syke Fields wedding EXTRAVAGANZA that was a feast for the eye balls as much as the heart. This one is a DOOZY!
