TIME & TIDE

I just got back from South Wales for a weekend wedding fest with the awesome Lindsey & Michael & I'm a bit of a sleepy sausage after all that driving. These guys chose to tie the knot in a beaut Oxwich Bay Hotel wedding & boy oh boy was it a rainy weekend. Of course that didn't stop us from creating all the badassery & lighting up the Welsh coast with all that magical love.

Tons of confetti amidst the first dance of a Bride and Groom at Oxwich Bay Hotel.

On the Friday it began with an extra special secret wedding ceremony inside the Oxwich Bay Hotel where Lindsey delivered the news to guests that they'd actually be doing the "official" bit right there & then. What guests thought was a mini party before the "big do" the next day turned out to be a surprise candle lit evening ceremony amidst those that matter most. YES! What a way to kick off a wedding filled weekend.

The next day began with Lindsey & her Bridesmaids as she got ready in the nearby Ivy Cottage before the rain held off & we walked up to the nearby chapel for a beautiful intimate ceremony. Afterwards there was just enough time before the heavens opened for us to create some beaut groups outside amidst the gorgeous florals. YES! Even more spesh was when Lindsey & Michael's Golden Retriever Penny arrived. As I've alway said, any day I get to touch a dog is a good day & today was definitely no different.

With that we headed over to the nearby marquee for drinks accompanied by the awesome sounds of Gower Music. After they rocked out Star Wars I just had to request the Jurassic Park theme & they did not disappoint. BAADAABAADAABAA! Back inside it was food time before I stole away Lindsey & Michael amidst a gap in the rain to take some portraits on Oxwich beach. Sheesh these wind swept stormy portraits were the highlight of my weekend & boy oh boy did we make the most of it. Ain't nothing more epic than a warm embrace amidst the bleak.

Speeches paved the way for a couple of last group shots before the party began. A highlight was definitely when Metallica Enter Sandman kicked in just after the first dance & we blew the roof off the Oxwich Bay Hotel with confetti canon filled joy.

Huge love to Michael & Lindsey. What a wild weekend of rain filled love struck magic. XOXO

Side Note 1: A special mention must go to wedding planner Eleanor Gail. It's not often I see anyone work harder than me at a wedding but sheesh she definitely did. Not only did Gail do an amazing job of looking after everybody throughout the day, but she was definitely my Welsh bezzy for the weekend. Huge love to you.

Side Note 2: Of course I took Paige & Casey to Wales. My real highlight of the entire 4 days was spending time with my amazing little family soon to be become four. ( Side note: We are now four) Our final holiday before sterilising bottles & sleepless nights become the norm again.
