The Pumping House Ollerton Wedding | Emma and Stuart

A Pumping House Ollerton wedding portrait of a Bride and Groom in a surreal mirror image where hands meet.

NOBODY TOSSES A DWARF

I don't think I've ever not had a wedding on Halloween. Legit it's one of those dates where i'm always booked. In fact October is always one of my busiest months & I think the UK weather in October is actually my favourite to photograph in. Low sun, crazy colours & it gets dark early enough to get some badass night time photogasms.

Surrealism meets love in this abstract Pumping House Ollerton wedding image. A bride and groom reflected in mirrors with hands meeting.

I can't actually believe I'm on my second to last wedding of 2025 & what an absolute doozy it was too. Honestly this year has been my all time favourite doing my job & I don't say that lightly. I'm sure I'll be putting together my stupidly long year in review video in the coming months, but in the meantime check out this spectacular Pumping House Ollerton wedding with the beaut Emma & Stuart.

A double exposure of a Bride and Groom at their pumping house ollerton wedding. The Autumns leaves provide a unique blend against the couples portrait.

Sheesh this year I've booked so many couples who play Warhammer. I mean it used to be the case admitting you play & paint tiny plastic people was like coming out of the closet. But Henry Cavil & main stream media actually seems to have now made it socially acceptable. Emma & Stuart are just some of those people. Never have I spent a wedding morning with a bride talking about 40k rules & what we are currently painting. But that set that bar for the rest of this epic nerd fest of a beautiful Pumping House Ollerton wedding day. YES!

In the butterfly room at this Pumping House Ollerton wedding the Bride and Groom pose. The Groom sits in a seat while the Bride flaps her arms like a butterfly.

The Autumn colours were out in full force at this Pumping House wedding as I rocked up to Emma to photograph her & the Bridesmaids getting ready in the beaut apartment. What an unreal time with these babs before I headed over to the wedding ceremony where framed by semi circular windows & the outside forest these two said their I do's. An entrance to the OG Final Fantasy 7 music proceeded the most epic Lord of the Rings vibed wedding day. Just look at that cake with it's secret hobbit hole.

A night time portrait in the woods surrounding the Pumping house Ollerton. Rings of fire from festoon lighting frame a romantic ethereal kiss.

Rumour has it I also have a secret hobbit hole located somewhere amidst my body, but there is no admittance expect on party business. Hell even in the chill out room where I had my second breakfast; Lord of the Rings (Extended edition) was playing all frickin day long. Seeing Gandalf vs the Balrog just as we dropped in for a portrait was epic timing "FLY YOU FOOLS."

A double exposure of black and white trees with the wedding party in an abstract photograph of love.

Making magic around the epic Pumping House Ollerton grounds, dodging showers, exploring the quirky rooms of the pumping house. This wedding was a frickin playground only overshadowed by the epic love at the centre of it all. Massive shout to Emma too for making all of the stationary & tons of other stuff. Beaut speeches, epic dance moves & more love than Frodo has for Samwise Gamgee. What a perfect day of geekery meets art in the magic of the forest.

Here's to the magnificent Emma & Stuart.
