Harry Potter Themed North Shire Wedding | Chloe and Jack
AFTER ALL THIS TIME? ALWAYS.
Anybody else found out their Harry Potter house on Pottermore because I’m a Gryffindor. In your face life! My patronus charm is even a frickin Dolphin. I’m sorry but if I was any more cool you could store your milk in me. I’M A FRIDGE BABY!
Well yesterday I was over at a brand new venue for me, the incredible North Shire. With a life size replica of Hagrid’s hut, beautiful Hobbit holes, An epic Harry Potter wedding cake & the magnificent Jack & Chloé at the centre of it all. Just consider me Wingardium Leviosa’d because I was on top of the world with this beaut of a Harry Potter themed North Shire wedding.
It all began in Hargrid’s hut (Jeez why don’t more weddings start with that sentence) Where I captured those last minute nerves & emotions before Chloe headed down the aisle to meet Jack. Their beautiful outdoor North Shire wedding ceromony was right in the centre of standing stones surrounded by dappled sunshine on Shepard’s huts & epic Yorkshire coastal views. Not to mention the sheer amount of chickens & baby chicks about. At one point in the wedding ceremony I was laid flat on the floor while mummy chicken & baby decided to invade the aisle of the ceremony.
The North Shire wedding ceremony continued inside the green Dragon cafe where Chloe & Jack lit a candle to signify two families becoming one & two hearts bound amidst those that matter most. Right outside it was time for portraits in the electric grounds of the North Shire wedding venue, from hobbit holes, storage containers & the plethora of Harry Potter themed wedding awesomeness within. These guys had more skills than Dumbledore! Yes!
A special mention must go to the chicken chucking competition which involved lobbing rubber chickens as far as possible. I still don’t know who even won haha. But it was even more amusing that every time one was thrown the real life chickens came over to inspect it like we had chucked one of their own family into the sky.
Back into the recently built beautiful North Shire wedding barn it was food, speeches & dancing like no ones watching below fairy lights & fading light. The end of my adventure with this magnificent two but for Chloe & Jack it had only just begun.

Holy moly I have always wanted to photograph a Hepworth Wakefield wedding. WE MAKE ART FROM LOVE baby & we sure as hell lifted the roof off shakey wakey for this DOOZY of a day with the spectacular Evelyn & Ben.
