A Camp Katur Wedding | John and Mia
MY OWN SUMMER
I was back amidst the oh so epic beauty of Bedale North Yorkshire for another Camp Katur wedding. As you guys probably know Camp Katur is without doubt one of my all time best Yorkshire wedding venues. Mainly due to its incredible surroundings & awesome photogenic barn. Plus the fact it often means I get to see the amazing Jan of Celebration Ceremonies & Weddings who today was in charge of the whole day including carrying out the couples heart warming woodland wedding ceremony. But of course, all of this pales in comparison to spending time with the two magnificent humans tying the knot. John & Mia.
Beginning with Mia & the Bridesmaids in the Camp Katur barn. Sunlight flooded through wood sending cascading light throughout this awesome structure. Then it was time for the Camp Katur wedding ceremony right in the heart of it’s beautiful woodland. As John played guitar to lead in the beautiful Bridesmaids, Max the dog & their adorable little boy Zeke. Man this kid was a riot, even falling over mid hand-fasting tongue first gaining a mouth full of soil. Then proceeding to walk around with his tongue out until getting some water. LEGEND.
From there it was back to the Camp Katur barn & into the light with Mia, John & the bridal party. We sure as Hell soaked up every last bit of that golden light. Then it was party time with the amazing John Holt Roberts solo acoustic jives that got dance floor in motion.
But in the dying light John & Mia embraced for one last time before I said my goodbyes. For in those final steps they moved as one beneath the fading light of summer. Yet Another incredible Camp Katur wedding.
