Away from home Whitby is probably my favourite place on the planet. Even more so in Winter. As silvery waves crash upon rocks, the sun cast its warmth upon this tiny coastal town for two spectacularly awesome love struck humans Jo & Jeff.
From the welcoming quirkiness of La Rosa Hotel to the festoon lit courtyard of Shepherds Purse. Jo & Jeff's Whitby wedding felt like an exploration of everything that makes this seaside haven so frickin magical. If you’re looking for a spectacular Whitby wedding venue then look no further.
Starting the day with this magnificent two by walking up the 199 steps to Whitby Abbey gave us views unparalleled. But the real spectacle was right there in the magic of the long embrace of the soon to be Mr & Mrs Maker.
Amidst the dwindling light Jo & Jeff's family & friends each brought an item dear to them. To be cast into a bell right there at the wedding by the spell binding Ore + Ingots travelling foundry. As the green flame dissipated & the cast was poured. One thing was for certain. That on this Winters day by the sea there was a magic that would remain for ever more.
