A Tattooed Bride & Groom, A Sacred Heart Piñata & Neon Decorations at an Alternative Wedding Venue in Leeds | Katie and Sam
the world NEEDS TO SEE THESE PHOTOGRAPHS or everyone DIES
I've said it a lot this year but SWEET JEEBUS this wedding has been a long time coming. I actually booked these guys when I was just a mere Foetus. It's nice to at last become a real boy & head on over to one of my all time greatest wedding alternative wedding venues in Leeds, The Faversham to photograph them.
Sam & Katie's Leeds alternative wedding was a confetti explosion of neon colours, traditional tattoo vibes & sleeves longer than the high wizard himself. Not to mention Katie & Sam themselves who are not only two of the coolest humans I've ever laid my peepers on but are pretty damn lovely to boot.
The day began with Katie's arrival before the ceremony in a Piñata laden Lad Rover Defender. This first look needed no setting up as all the guests headed outside including the waiting Sam. WHAT AN ENTRANCE!
After that it was a ceremony amidst all the cascading colours of this alternative wedding venue in Leeds. Sacred Heart bunting & a badass streamer backdrop was a feast for the eye balls as these two said their I do's in front of all they adored. All day long I couldn't get enough of the way these two looked at each other. During the portraits around the eclectic backdrop of the Leeds University campus these two lit up Leeds with their absolute frickin joyful love.
From there it was back inside for some badass tunes surprise sax from none other than the legend that is John Needham-Pearmain. You might recognise this bearded beauty from John & Alice's wedding I shot a little while back. YES!
Emosh speeches & beaut group shots paved the way for me to say my goodbyes to this truly magic couple.
What a day. What a love. XO

As soon as I arrived the awesome venue manager gave me the grand tour of This Green Moon telling me about MAGICAL little monsters that lived there and endowing me with a special bracelet. I mean that was probably the GREATEST wedding venue intro I've ever had to be fair.
