Wortley Hall Wedding | Ann-Marie and James

A double exposure of a Bride & Groom face to face with the elaborate wallpaper in their faces. Abstract beauty in this Wortley Hall wedding.

THE MAN IN BLACK FLED ACROSS THE DESERT, AND THE GUNSLINGER FOLLOWED

Sweet & savoury Jebus I feel like I'm on my own frickin planet right now. People say moving house is one of the most stressful events you can go through & I have to say I bloody agree. I've only just had the mental capacity after four days in the new house to sit down in me spanking new kitchen & write up the incredible Wortley Hall wedding I photographed. Forgive me if It's a bit more brief than usual as the kids are running around making me more overstimulated than that time I snorted a line of Nescafe Gold blend.

Wortley Hall wedding photography of a Bride & Groom on the grand staircase. The Bride poses while the Groom walks down the stairs.

I got to the awesome Wortley Hall in Sheffield thinking it was a new wedding venue for me but then realised I shot there way back in 2016 & what a doozy of a venue. That reception space with all that dark wood & the way the light hits it just right is a treat for the frickin eye balls.

Reflections of the Bride & Groom in Wortley Hall mirrors. Colourful candles, grand chandeliers & dark wood frame an atmospheric portrait.

I spent the morning photographing the amazing Ann-Marie & James as they got ready for the epic day ahead. A mix of romantic emotional dress applying moments for Ann-Marie & flat lays of bran flakes for James. His favourite breakfast apparently so I couldn't resist. We headed downstairs for the Wortley Hall wedding ceremony amidst the most beautiful florals & those that matter most as these two said their I do's. After the ceremony it was confetti & epic groups around the beautiful Wortley Hall wedding venue grounds. I love these old stately homes they always have so much symmetry. Not to mention unreal interior details like some wallpaper I bloody loved & had to double expose inside these babs magnificent faces. YES!

An emotional moment during the Wortley Hall wedding ceremony as the Bride and groom see each other for the first time.

I loved exploring both the inside & outside of Wortley Hall with these magnificent humans in tow. Ann-Marie was full of cold on the day so extra huge respect to her for still putting the time into getting those epic moments. Speeches & food in the unreal decorated wood bound hall gave me all the feels. Honestly I took so many details at this wedding. Those colourful candles, that hand made paper mache castle 😱 LOOK AT THAT CAKE. Extra bonus it contained my all time favourite book series The Dark Tower. Everything was just a treat for the peepers.

Magical light amidst the daffodils of this Springtime wedding at Wortley Hall Sheffield. The Bride and Groom kiss surrounded by golden hour magic.

Some final golden hour daffodil portraits paved the way for the party to begin where the Big Swing Face band lifted the roof off Wortley Hall. Well it seems I lied & I wrote a post longer than my University dissertation. What more do you expect. I'm going back to trying to beautify our beautiful new home now. The sun is shining, the kids are idiots & I got a loft to hide in.

Huge love to James & Ann-Marie fore such an incredible day.
