THE SEXIEST MAN IN SHEFFIELD PHOTOGRAPHS A WEDDING FOR NOWT

Imagine winning your wedding photography from Shutter Go Click. Ain’t no need for the unreal Hannah & Robyn to imagine because to celebrate a decade of making art from love I threw a little competition on the socials and these absolute bloody beauties only went & won it 😱 Yep I got to photograph the incredible Hannah & Robyn for their The Parlour at Blagdon wedding & sheesh was it a bloody good one.

The wedding day began photographing Hannah & Robyn as they got ready. Just check out how incredible they both look. That hat from Twisted Tulip had me swooning. Not to mention that beaut dress from Bibluxe. I feel like I'm on repeat this year because I keep saying every damn wedding how bloody lovely my couples are. Honestly spending time with these beaut two was such a privilege. Literally all day long we had each other in stitches & I genuinely feel like I've made a couple of friends.

They even made me a little pressie gift bag with handmade ornaments for both me & Paige. The cutest invites ever & a card addressed to the "sexiest man in Sheffield." 😂 I didn't have the heart to tell them I actually live in Rotherham. I just tell everyone it's Sheffield because it's less known for predators.

When this epic two were ready they headed down that Parlour at Blagdon wedding Aisle for one of the most emosh ceremonies I think I've ever witnessed. Even I shed a solitary tear during the I do's. I think the photos really capture the essence of that ceremony emotion too. Sometimes you can just feel that love & electricity between two people & with Robyn & Hannah it was HIGH VOLTAGE!

Outside it was group shots & epic couple portraits. As per usual we managed to find the bits behind the Parlour at Blagdon they probably didn't expect me to use for photos. Yes to bridal party pics by bins haha. Speeches & unreal tapas paved the way for a little drive out to an underpass with triangular light that I always love so hard & hiding behind bushes. We were originally gonna climb the boobs of Northumberlandia but it was closed. Having seen the climb though that was probably a good thing & we managed to find some fallen trees nearby to utilise instead YES!

Back at the Parlour at Blagdon & it was acoustic dance awesomeness from Electric Clubland before a first dance & emosh goodbyes. I can't express enough how much I bloody love these two. Not only did they both allow & absolutely relish in creating magical photos all day long. But they were genuinely two of the loveliest people I've met doing this job. Before I left I said to them both "I'm so glad you won" & I absolutely meant it.

Of course by far the biggest prize on the day was hitting that illustrious jackpot of each other.

Here's to Robyn & Hannah XOXO

THE REEL

THE REVIEW

“We were lucky enough to be picked by Ryan to win his decade of love competition. Not only was this an absolute godsend in the wedding budgeting, but it was also a true honour to have been picked. My wife had followed Shutter Go Click for many years on Facebook and oooo’d and ahhh’d at his posts with absolutely no idea he would be our wedding photographer one day. She said to see us in his photos was somewhat of a pinch me moment and it felt so special that we had won it for being just us. Just two gals in love!

The fact that we won doesn’t detract from we 100% would have picked him anyway. We didn’t want a basic set of photos, they wouldn’t have reflected us or our day at all. Ryans style of photography is so different to anything I’ve seen before, we got to see firsthand how he gets these shots with all his contraptions! We were in contact with Ryan throughout the lead up to our wedding, we had a Zoom call and then just checking in via text or email, the canny little chats and odd like on our social media did make all the difference and it felt like he was just as excited as us. His arrival was just as we were starting to get ready bang on time when he said he would be there, and he was on it straight away camera in hand!

He is also a super speedy editor. We got around 80 preview images back within a week, whilst we were on our minimoon in Spain, sat in some random coffee shop in a tourist attraction crying our eyes out. We got our main album back way sooner that proposed as well, we were kept in the loop about the timeline and the queue ahead of us, this added to the anticipation of seeing the pictures as well as a nice personal touch - which with Ryan, there were lots.

Usually, we don’t really like getting our photos taken, we are both a little awkward with the focus of attention being on us, but Ryan made us feel at ease straight away and we actually enjoyed it. Like many have already said it genuinely felt like we had known him for ages, it was like having your friend take you out on a joy ride to get some arty shots in random places in your fancy clothes. Ryan just blended in, snapping away, he felt like a guest, in fact we would have invited him as a guest! He chatted with our families, had a crack on with our mates while we were getting our group shots and checked on us both throughout the day making sure we were ok.

Ryan is just so genuine – what you see is what you get, he is as mad as a box of frogs and so unbelievably talented. We had promised him a mountain with B**bs (censored since the internet is scared) but unfortunately Northumberlandia was closed so we explored the area around our venue - Be prepared to go climbing over logs, trekking through grass fields, spin near some wheelie bins – just do what he asks! It is worth it! We were a little worried our venue was more on the traditional side but Ryan found his spots and we went for it.

THE PHOTOS – well…where to start, WOW! They are beyond our expectations. We knew they were going to be good, but they are more than we ever could have wished for. Every single one of them is like a perfect snapshot of our day! My personal favourites (all though its very hard to pick) are the ones that he took while we weren’t posing, us being us, just small little moments and when the light was right he grabbed us to go out the back with our wedding party. The photos are stunning, I will never ever tire of looking at them, everyone who has seen them has all said the same thing.

My wife said this: Ryan captured the true feel of the day; A LOT of me crying; but also the love and the joy of our wedding day. And of course, my wife looking FIT!!!

We won in so many ways!

Not only have we got a beautiful set of images, but we also had an amazing experience and I'd like to think we have gained a friend. We can’t thank him enough for our prize but if we can help encourage people - if you are toying with the idea to just BOOK RYAN NOW! You won’t regret it.
Hopefully we will get to do it again someday (we will pay this time...maybe)”
