Ossett Brewery Wedding | Lucy and Ben
EGLO PASCOBAR & THE P*SS UP IN A BREWERY
Honestly I have been waiting to spend the day with the incredible Lucy & Ben for what seems like an eternity. These two are those kind of unreal humans that you feel like you've known for an eternity even though you've only chatted on the socials. With Ben being a huge beer aficionado what better way was there to say I do than an unbelievably awesome Ossett Brewery Wedding. Genuinely when I pulled up to this venue amidst parked lorries & shiny fermentation vessels I did a little happy squee! That's a sentence you won't hear too often 😂 This venue was 100% right up my street & holy moly do these photos show it 🙀
We began the day amidst an outdoor ceremony in 27 degree heat, but my word it felt like I was firmly embedded in Satan's gooch I was so damn hot. Even my cameras were burning my finger prints off. But even though it was sweltering, there was no heat like that first look of love from Ben as Lucy made her entrance down that Ossett Brewery wedding aisle. (How's that for a Segue! YOU LIKE IT DON'T YA!)
Just look at that Ossett Brewery wedding ceremony set up though HOLY WOWZA! With beaut music from the amazing Linzi Brian Music, Lodged in between beer tanks with sunflowers & home made pom pom letters. That contrast of industrial & colour gave me all the eyegasms as these two said their eye do's amidst those that matter most. After that we headed out into the Ossett Brewery carpark for group shots amidst storage containers before an epic bubble filled "confetti shot."
Another favourite part of this Ossett Brewery wedding day for me was getting to explore the taproom with Lucy & Ben & creating magic amidst all that stainless steel & industrial symmetry. My heart couldn't really take any more cool photos but as I headed out with these two into the surrounding car park I was smiling from ear to ear as we photographed some of the coolest portraits I've taken this year. Milk bottles as props & truck-stop signage was all my mind & body needed. YES!
Another huge mention must go to the magnificent specimen of a man who I lovingly entitled Eglo Pascobar aka Scott. I took limitless joy in recreating the Pablo Escobar memes with this chap with assistance from the awesome Jody. You gotta go check out my reels on the gram to enjoy that one. Back inside it was speeches in the air con (THANK THE LORD) & a first dance before all the epic moves were busted amidst beautiful light & love of Ossett Brewery. Genuinely this was yet another wedding this year that has made me not want to leave. If Lucy's awesome Dad had had his way I'd be sleeping on his sofa & half cut before the day had finished 😂 Thanks for the beer you legend!
In fact I have to finish by saying what an unreal bunch of humans this wedding contained. Not only did I feel so frickin welcome but you guys literally all felt like pure pals. A huge thank you & big love to Lucy & Ben.
Genuinely what a magnificent set of people you are. So so honoured to have photographed your most awesome of days.

THE REVIEW
“Ryan! What can I say. You were absolutely fantastic on our big day. Right from the get go of contacting you via instagram, to having our meeting and then meeting you on our wedding day, you were an absolute treasure. You kept us informed along the way about the photos and sent us sneaky previews that made our hearts melt.
You were worth every single penny and the photos are better than I ever could imagine. Thank you so much for making our day so special and capturing it perfectly… you literally captured what we wanted “ a piss up in a brewery!”
You’re da best!
Love Lucy and Ben xx”

As soon as I arrived the awesome venue manager gave me the grand tour of This Green Moon telling me about MAGICAL little monsters that lived there and endowing me with a special bracelet. I mean that was probably the GREATEST wedding venue intro I've ever had to be fair.
