A Spotted Ox York Wedding | Stef and Lewis
GET YOUR OX OFF
I was back for a York wedding at the Spotted Ox with all the Autumn feels within those city walls. Stefanie & Lewis began their day arriving together & walking down the aisle holding hands as family & friends looked on for their wedding ceremony at York Registry Office. After saying their I do's it was out into the low October sun where Stef & Lewis took their first steps as husband & wife.
Afterwards it was onto the Forge at The Spotted Ox Tockwith. An eclectic setting complete with an awesome red painted ex war shelter. It was there we explored the mix of industrial & agricultural surroundings. Fallen leaves mixed with orange smoke as the colours of Autumn lit up the cold concrete like wild fire.
Back in the Spotted Ox Forge wedding speeches were made amidst beautiful handmade details. Though back outside it was in that final light that Stef & Lewis embraced beneath the silhouette of a tree amidst a fading day. It was a moments tranquility before the frickin amazing sounds of 5K rock band. These guys literally blew the roof off the place with their set.
As the dance floor filled Stef & Lewis ended their day exactly as they began.
Hand in hand for the world.

SHEESH the last time I was at The Judge's Lodging was when I was a student nearly 20 YEARS back at a New Years party in the basement & the place looked a lot less Psychedelic this time around. Check out the UNREAL wedding of James & Dion!
