I Ain’t No Ballroom Dancer
It all began with Tom & Verity tying the knot over at St Marys Church in Ricall in a beautiful ceremony before heading over to the new (At least for me) wedding venue on the block aka the River Mills Ballroom.
Now I've got to say first of all not only was The River Mills Ballroom venue right up my street with its architectural details & epic spaces. But owner Matt is an absolute gent taking me & Paige (who again helped me on the day (love you long time) on a grand tour of this amazing building.
Right away when we arrived at River Mills Ballroom I took the bridal party on a siteseeing tour of the grandest delights. Aka the down & dirty car park next door. Win! Just check out all those reflections. LORD HAVE MERCY! Back inside it was beautiful handmade details & awesome cakes with Playmobile cake toppers lovingly crafted by the Brides sister. Ain't they just beaut!
Speeches were made & love filled the room to the rafters as Groom Tom ended his emotional slideshow speech with a message from musician Frank Turner who Verity absolutely loves. I'm not gonna lie I ain't down with the kids & had to ask Paige who he was but apparently that's a properly big deal. (I'll get back into my ageing cave now)
After that I took Tom & Verity on a whirwind tour of the River Mills Ballroom & wowza just look at those window shots. These guys were absolutely game for all those creative portraits & boy oh boy was it worth it when you find windows like these.
Back into the action the dance floor filled & fairylights framed these magnificent two in their first dance. It wasn't long before we said our goodbyes & the fairylights faded like stars into a blackening sky.
