Left Bank Leeds Wedding | Rachael and Bobby

DANCE MAGIC DANCE

It's official ladies & gents, I realised at this awesome Left Bank wedding that I have now entered full Dad mode. Not just because of my ever dwindling Dad bod that has surged in girth. But also because when I spot a baby at a wedding I will now make a point of shimmying towards said parent. Leaning over in second hand pride & saying with a smile "How Old?" before talking incessantly about my own said sprogling. What little street cred i had has now transferred into the ether & I am now simply just a parent who also takes pictures. But boy oh boy have I got some pictures for you today. YES!

I was back at one of my all time favourite wedding venues Left Bank Leeds for the wedding of Rachael & Bobby. The only thing that could have made it better was if my wedding bezzie Christine of Christine Berrisford - Bespoke Ceremonies Leeds was doing the ceremony. OH THERE SHE IS!

The day began over at Dakota Leeds Hotel with Rachael & her Bridesmaids getting ready in one of the rooms overlooking the morning Leeds skyline. As the city woke Rachael was ready for the aisle & there ain't no aisle as spectacular as Left Bank Leeds. The festoon lighting glowed but the warmth that filled the room was those that matter most as they waited for the entrance of all entrances.

Genuinely Christine as always put on a Left Bank wedding ceremony like no other, Over the years I've worked alongside her we've become friends who not only adore what each other do but also take annoying selfies before ceremonies. YES! Bobby & Rachael said their I do's before a wedding party rendition of a Beatles song lifted the roof off this pocket of Leeds.

It was absolutely hammering it down with rain outside but me Rachael & Bobby along with the bridal party utilised the gaps in the weather to make some frickin magic. Hell it might have been raining but it didn't matter. The warmth & gratitude that Rachael & Bobby had that their wedding was finally going ahead was enough to make anyone smile.

Genuinely any time I looked at Rachael there wasn't a single moment where she didn't look like she was having the absolute greatest time of her life. Maybe that's because after the postponements & set backs it was finally happening. Or perhaps it was that between her & Bobby there was an electricity that would light up any room.

Motown & moves on the dance-floor finished the night with these incredible humans centre stage. What life. What love. What a day.

Here's to Rachael & Bobby.
