Chilli Barn Otley Wedding with all the Pokémon | Josh and Rach
GOTTA CATCH ‘EM ALL
Yes! What a wedding. I finally got to spend the day with the incredible Josh & Rach for their unreal wedding at The Chilli Barn in Otley. Josh & Rachel are HUGE Pokémon fans. Josh is an incredible tattooist specialising in all things geek but predominantly Pokémon. Also Rach is a bit of a Pokémon social media personality. & by a bit I mean a lot. How frickin cool is that!!!
The day began with Rach & her beaut bridesmaids getting ready over at a nearby air b n b. Just check out Rach’s epic Elven vibed crown. Sheesh we be getting all kinds of Rivendell up in this house! What a stunner!
Over at the Chilli Barn the waiting Josh stood by a hobbit door beautifully made by Josh’s Dad Darren & fit for the filthy Baginses themselves. All around the Chilli Barn wedding venue were homages to epic geekery that Josh & Rach love so damn hard as Rach made her entrance. Genuinely you could just feel the love between these two epic humans as they said their I do’s.
After an emotional Chilli Barn wedding ceremony it was dodging the eye flapping winds and heavy rain as we created a few magical shots amidst Otley Chevin woods. These two looked like they were straight out of a fantasy epic as in the wild winds of Yorkshire they shared that loving embrace. YES!
Confetti & space hoppers plus epic group photos with garden props filled me with all the hell yeahs, before we headed inside the Chilli Barn for some beautiful speeches and unreal food. (Side note: I have never seen so much Halloumi in my life)
We snuck in some more beaut wind swept couple portraits before heading back inside for a magical first dance to the Pokemon theme song! YES! Honestly seeing Josh, Rach & their daughter Pippa dancing in the Chilli Barn before we left with such pure joy was all the warmth we needed to head back out into the bleak and make our way home.

As soon as I arrived the awesome venue manager gave me the grand tour of This Green Moon telling me about MAGICAL little monsters that lived there and endowing me with a special bracelet. I mean that was probably the GREATEST wedding venue intro I've ever had to be fair.
