A Loch Lomond Elopement | Jo and Jake
LOCH & KEY
Wow what an absolute adventure this past couple of days have been. Me & Paige headed up North to Scotland for an incredible elopement on the banks of the jaw dropping Loch Lomond. The awesome Jo & Jake are one of this years unfortunate couples that have had to postpone their wedding not once but twice before saying F*%K IT & creating an absolutely perfect intimate celebration at the waters edge of Loch Lomond. Of course they kindly took me & Paige along for the ride. YES! OCH AYE THE NOOOOOO!
Yep unfortunately me entering Scotland consistently involves both immediate & terrible impressions of the Scottish accent. Usually sounding more like fat bastard from Austin Powers than anything else. Although the lovely lady at our Air B n B called us Southerners & as I'm from Yorkshire I took great offence to that, proceeding to ensure my Scottish impressions became both louder & more offensive.
Anyway back to the matter at hand aka this absolutely draw droppingly spectacular wedding. YES! With a moving wedding ceremony on the banks of Loch Lomond from Fiona Bennie of Humanist Society Scotland. Jo & Jake spoke their vows amidst the tears & laughter of just 9 of their closest family. Words that rippled across the enchanted waters of this Scottish Utopia. From their it was time to create some magic amidst the Scottish landscape & jeez does a location like this make it bloody easy. Even more so when you're in the company of two of the most adorably love struck humans in existence.
A huge thank-you to Jo, Jake & their families for making this such an unforgettable experience. May the wild wee haggises of Scotland whisper your names for ever more.
REVIEW | JO & JAKE
Ryan is the most amazing photographer who totally put us at ease on our Loch Lomond Elopement! He is excitable, enthusiastic and an absolute genius! Our wedding photos are amazing and our friends and family have loved them. To be honest, I got a little confused when he first started taking photos because it was almost like he and Paige were part of our family and guests at our wedding, that's how comfortable they made us feel! We debated for ages about whether to have a photographer at our elopement and we are so glad we did, the only slight problem is that there are too many amazing photos! Thank you both!

It's such a glowing feeling to be privileged enough to photograph such a meaningful ceremony & to be stood amidst such WARMTH in an INCREDIBLE building like this one. Warmth created by family... by love.
