Thief Hall Wedding | Gem and Tina
NO MORE POSTPONEMENTS
At frickin last!... After a couple of years I've finally shot my final postponement of the dreaded period of lurgy based set backs. Gemma & Tina actually booked just after me & Paige first got together which is absolutely mental to think about. Anyway, fast forward a good three and a half years from when we first met. It was finally time to celebrate with an absolute banger of a Thief Hall wedding.
If you've not been to Thief Hall before. The staff were so bloody attentive (Especially manager Hannah) Not only did they treat me & Paige so damn well on the day. But they were around the entire wedding to help out & just generally be awesome. Also sweet jeebus these guys are all over the Tik Tok & Insta story stuff. I'm not gonna lie, it was a little unusual to have peeps filming & taking photos basically the entire day alongside me for the venue socials. Perhaps that's just me getting old though. 🤷♀️😂 I'm just used to me, the couple & lots of time for creative magic. Not to take anything away from the guys tagging along though as they were such a beaut set of humans. I'm just 100% happy to be old & "out of touch."
Me & Paige began early by keeping Gem & Tina company as they got ready for the day ahead. A special mention must go to Elijah, Gem & Tina's little boy who was such an awesome little dude. Plus their beaut of a Frenchie Rufus (WHO'S A GOOD BOY!) What of an overload of cuteness to start off the day YES!
Northallerton Silver Band led guests inside for an emotional ceremony in front of those that matter most before I took Gem & Tina outside for some quick portraits amidst the eclectic grounds & nearby woodland of Thief Hall. Of course in true Shutter Go Click style; I was more interested in the crackling paint of some nearby walls & a beat up tractor than anywhere the venue thought I might like to photograph 😂
Back into the warmth of Thief Hall & it was time for a beaut Christmas Dinner & awesome speeches. We then snuck outside to catch that last bit of sunlight dipping below the horizon. Gem & Tina lit up the dance floor for their first dance & me & Paige headed home to moan about our feet hurting & how cold we were.
I can't begin to tell you how chuffed I am to have finally shot all my postponements from the last couple of years. I've truly felt for all my couples that have been through so damn much to get to their most incredible of days.

As soon as I arrived the awesome venue manager gave me the grand tour of This Green Moon telling me about MAGICAL little monsters that lived there and endowing me with a special bracelet. I mean that was probably the GREATEST wedding venue intro I've ever had to be fair.
