Creative York Family Photography in a Lumber Yard | An Hour in the Life of the Wace's
IF A TREE FALLS IN THE FOREST?
Holy mother of all things MAGNIFICENT have I got a pretty damn special York family session for you lovely lot. Not only did I photograph Charlotte & John's wedding a while back. But these awesome two actually started my series of "Who the Hell let me do a Maternity Shoot?" family photo sessions over a year ago when their gorgeous little girl Nancy was just a mere bump. Remember me double exposing a cat inside a mums pregnant tummy? Awwwwh yeah that was these guys!
But Nancy is a bump no more & this time we headed out to this log laden corner of York countryside to climb huge tree trunks, sit on piles of tipped masonry & let Nancy crawl around amidst broken old machinery. YES!
I have to say every time I spend time photographing these guys I just love em even more. Now it's at the point where they pay me for a family shoot & it feels a little bit dirty like I'm getting a bank transfer to see me Bezzies. But the more I think about it the better I feel. I mean what's better than spending time with your pals. I'll tell you what. GETTING PAID FOR IT! 😂😂😂
Charlotte messaged me this morning saying what time are you posting the previews? To which I replied, " Hahaha I’ve not even bloody started em yet you bugger. Ya know if anyone else asked me that I’d kick them in the nut sack but I love you so it’s ok. Xxx" It's this degree of professional fortitude you can expect from Shutter Go Click Photography.
Honestly though when me, Paige, John & Charlotte get together it forever & always makes me a bit emosh about how people like these without a doubt make this job the best in the frickin world. I got to photograph Nancy before she had even come into this world & now I'm getting to capture her walking for nearly the first time. I'm getting to see the love, the magic of those moments that might otherwise be forgotten.
What a privilege. What a family & I'm proud to call you guys our friends.

I've been having an absolute BLAST making portraits at my home on the Lincolnshire Coast recently. Since I first visited Sandilands I was so excited to do a shoot there. The eclectic beach huts are right up my street & I have to say they didn't disappoint. LOOK AT THE COLOURS SWOON! Check out this epic maternity shoot on the beach YES!
