Harlow Carr Harrogate Family Photographer | An Hour in the Life of the Walls
if I was a FLOWER growin WILD & free
I had never actually been to RHS Garden Harlow Carr in Harrogate before. My Gran used to bang on about it & I never really knew where or what she was raving about. Is she saying hello to her car in a really posh voice? "Harlo Carr!" Is it a place & if its is. Is it even real? All I knew when I was kid was that if my Gran bloody liked it... I should never ever go there.
But as I get older, my back starts giving me random pains. I groan as I remove myself from my sofa bum indentation. I make cups of tea to solve all of life's woes. With that comes an appreciation of nature, parks & walking with no purpose. I mean I am a photographer after all & pretty stuff makes me come alive like Jeebus in an Easter egg sale.
Anyway I got to spend a couple of hours in & around these beautiful gardens with Becca, Rich & their two awesome kids Amber & Lucas for some Harlow Carr Harrogate Family photography. There's nothing quite like it, After a long day looking at screens to finish the day with a walk with some peeps who like to have fun. Some of you might recognise Rich as one of the Groomsmen in Matthew & Lecia's Ukrainian wedding I posted a while back. But far from the Vodka infused dance moves he was busting out there. This time it was all about spending time with those that matter most in the last of the Summer blooms.

I've been having an absolute BLAST making portraits at my home on the Lincolnshire Coast recently. Since I first visited Sandilands I was so excited to do a shoot there. The eclectic beach huts are right up my street & I have to say they didn't disappoint. LOOK AT THE COLOURS SWOON! Check out this epic maternity shoot on the beach YES!
