A Hale Head Lighthouse, River Mersey Family Session | An Hour in the Life of the Sharples
SONG to the SIREN
I'm not sure if you guys remember a couple of years back one of my absolute favourite people Chloe aka my tattooist aka the talented artist behind my epic logo left Leeds & I was proper gutted. Not just because I photographed Chloe & Eddie's engagement shoot & wedding but also because those many, many hours with Chloe as she worked her colourful magic on my limbs was a therapy of sorts. She was one of the main constants of my life at the time in an existence full of uncertainties.
Fast forward a couple of years & we are both parents & Chloe has her own frickin awesome studio in Widnes. She invited me to photograph her beaut little family amidst the eyelid flapping winds of Hale head Lighthouse on the river Mersey. Jeez it was actually a bit bloody magical seeing Chloe & Eddie again, especially getting to meet their new adorable edition Teddy amidst such a magical setting. Teddy has just turned 1 & what better way to celebrate that fact than with some photographic epicness.
I've already got plans to visit Chloe for some beaut artwork but in the meantime it's time to share a bit of mine. Well done on smashing 1 year of parenthood you incredible two.

I've been having an absolute BLAST making portraits at my home on the Lincolnshire Coast recently. Since I first visited Sandilands I was so excited to do a shoot there. The eclectic beach huts are right up my street & I have to say they didn't disappoint. LOOK AT THE COLOURS SWOON! Check out this epic maternity shoot on the beach YES!
