California Family Photographer | Three Days in the Lives of the Kauths
CALIFORNIA DREAMING
GUESS WHO'S BACK FROM A CALIFORNIA FAMILY PHOTOSHOOT BABY! YES! CACHOW! BLAP! BLOOP! SHWEEP!... Did ya hear that? that's the laser show with smoke machines signalling my arrival back into the drudgery of reality. CAN YOU FEEL IT IN YOUR BURNING LOINS!
So I'm gonna come right out & say first of all, this was without a doubt the greatest adventure of my entire existence. Mainly because 10 years ago when I picked up my first camera. I never dreamed that a decade later pressing a button would allow me to travel right across the globe. That people had passion enough in my abilities that they felt it was worth having me photograph them. I'm not just talking about monetary worth either. But also the desire to spend time with me, to learn from me & invite me into their homes. To have faith in my vision of capturing their lives. What an honour it has been.
Today the focus is on the family who brought me & my beautiful partner in crime Paige out to California. They invited us into their home, their hearts & the memories we shared together will never be forgotten. Not only are we eternally grateful for the time we got to spend with them, but also for their immediate & eternal friendship.
To be in the company of Andy, Amii & their entire Arroyo Grande family was to experience family bonds with the deepest freedom. A freedom of childhood, Laughter amidst the sands. Seven of the most incredible humans you'd ever meet casting a silhouette against the California sun that would be engrained upon my memories for ever more.
It's hard to encapsulate 3 days with the Kauths through only images as the story we shared together would be limitless just our love for these guys.
From both me & Paige, a thankyou doesn't even come close to expressing our feelings towards been able to have that time with you all.
